Warriors Win Five Straight Championships

The No. 3 Westmont women’s basketball team won its fifth straight Golden State Athletic Conference Tournament Championship on March 7, defeating No. 4 The Master’s 76-67 at Murchison Gym. The Warriors, who had already won the GSAC Regular Season Championship, will find out their seeding for the 32-team NAIA National Championship bracket on March 11. Westmont, 11-0 in GSAC Tournament games in the last five years, won at home for the first time since 2012. The national tournament begins March 18 in Billings, Montana.

The No. 6 Westmont men's basketball team, which won the GSAC Regular Season Championship, will make a record sixth straight appearance at Nationals on March 18 in Kansas City, Mo.
