Christian missiology, world religions, religion and globalization
Dr. Farhadian graduated from Seattle Pacific University, earned a Master of Divinity at Yale University, and completed a PhD from Boston University. He studies the relationship between religions and cultures, particularly Christianity in non-Western contexts, world Christianity, comparative missiology, and religion and globalization. He has investigated themes of worship, social history, and nation-making during fieldwork in Southeast Asia and the Pacific.
